As you all probably know, the NA engine's out of the car. The garage I'm working in happens to be part of the house, meaning that there's a door connecting it to the basement living room. Now the day after removing the engine, I get a call telling me that the whole house reaks of gas smell. I was sure it wasn't THAT bad, you all know how women always exagerate. So I get home to see that the air is thick with gas fumes, it was unbelievable!! So I take a peak and see that I forgot to cap off the two fuel lines (the one coming out of the gas filter and the return line). So I shut those and air the house out, and think that it's all good. I get home the next day, and the smell has gotten worse!!! Now I'm really at a loss, what could be going on? Did I forget to cap off any lines?? Should I drain the gas tank or would that allow the fumes to propagate even more? Help me out before I blow the roof off the house! George
